A Graduation Prayer

By Angela Mazzaferro

As I pass through my final year at OLHC, I believe I have gained a love in my heart and in my mind that I will share throughout my life.

This last year God has touched me through the suffering of people I love. It was through these sufferings that I began to reflect about me and my purpose in life.

Thank you God for the awakening you have given me, and for allowing me to reflect on my past and present. For I know that my past at OLHC will be the reason for whatever will be in store for me in the future.

God has blessed me with the opportunity to have had such a wonderful teacher. One of my biggest reflection on my graduation will be my most admired role model, my teacher, Mrs.Palazzo. Thank you God for having Mrs.Palazzo be part of my education. I have gained so much because of the experiences she has enabled me to gain.

Also thank you God for my friends. As I reflect on each one of them I begin to realize that each of them has given me a unique and individual way of loving me. May God grant them happiness and may they always keep in mind their memories of me as I will of them. Because God has made no ship greater than friendship.

Thank you OLHC for all my memories and for caring about each one of us to make it to this day.
