- Angela passed away on March 11, 1997 in an automobile accident. Although her untimely death continues to be felt by all those who knew her, it is the celebration of her life and her genuine human spirit that continues to sustain her memory and that which is the focus of this charity.
I have had the honour of going to the thirteenthagel foudation gala for the past four years now and it is such a joy to see such honourable and wonderful people to give such a deserving crisis intervention the help and honour it so muchly is needed i too am a surivor and with such wonderful people as the mazzaferro family and all of the beautiful people on the angel foudation team it has truly been a honour to be in your presence.At the begining of my journey with this family at the first gala was a presentation of a beautiful centrepiece on each table i truly bealeive a gift of love because as you looked upon it there was an agel right in the centre of it i had the fourtune to be able to bring this home with me after the gala that night and the angel was the beautiful angela in my heart and eyes, to hard to beleive but true i placed the angel on my car interior rear view mirror and in all my travels which are alot i took her presence with me then and now where ever i go she has become my silent angel a gift of love to be spread far and wide to angela in all the heavens and earth you will never be forgotten nor will never stop to bring peace and love into everyones life god bless little angel.

Whenever someone can take such a horrific experience & turn it into something positive it becomes very special; and that great energy flows into the gala & encompasses the people attending. I’ve left both the last 2 galas feeling empowered.

The Thirteenth Angel Gala is a wonderful helpful event that gives back to the surrounding communities in need in Toronto. Everyone who participates becomes an activist to help other people. Very rewarding.
I have had the pleasure of attending The Thirteenth Angel Foundation gala in 2010. It was a beautiful evening. I’m happy that I was able to contribute to a wonderful cause and cannot wait for the upcoming gala in 2011.
Boost Child Abuse Prevention & Intervention is honoured to have been the reciepient of funds raised by the 13th Angel Foundation’s annual Gala. The gala is a beautiful and important event and it is heartwarming to have attended and to see so many people who are there to realize Angela’s dream of helping children. I am deeply grateful to those whe created and sustain the 13th Angel Foundation and to all of those who support it and Angela’s legacy by attending the gala.
The Thirteenth Angel Gala is always a wonderful experience. To be in the prescence of old friends and relatives who are all there for the same reason, is really a heart warming experience. The evening is enjoyable in many ways; you have good food, music, presentations, auctions, raffle prizes and more! It is definitely an entertaining evening for a wonderful cause.
One thing for certain is that when you are there, you know that there is a prescence of something beautiful, a shared love for our friend Angela and a shared goal of helping children and keeping Angela’s legacy alive. Angela touches the hearts of her family and friends to this day, and now everyone has the opportunity to share that feeling. The annual gala is a great way to share good times for a great cause.
This past year, I attended the Thirteenth Angel Foundation annual gala with family. It was an exceptionally organized event, which offered great items to bid on, all of which was donated to charity, good food, drinks and entertainment. The night was inspirational! Although I did not have the opportunity to meet the late Angela Mazzaferro, I did have the opportunity to speak with friends and family who have been touched by her presence, spirit and dedication to an unbelievable cause.
This will definitely not be the last time that I attend the Thirteenth Angel Foundation annual gala… I only hope that others will take this testimonial as an opportunity to attend the gala and see for themselves!

It truly is a magical evening that allows all of its attendees the opportunity to celebrate the life of Angela, the angel who inspired this amazing foundation!
